Internet and wi-fi

Wi-fi is free throughout the airport. Connect to the "Kefairport FreeWifi" hotspot.

If you use a sim card from an EU country, you can call and use data in Iceland at the same prices as in your home country, even though Iceland is not a member of the EU.

Otherwise, get a data e-sim quickly and easily on the airalo.com.

Luggage storage

Automatic luggage lockers are located outside the terminal (from the exit on the right) near the public transport bus stops.

The price for 24-hour storage is 1 490 isk to 4 490 isk depending on the size of the luggage.

Official website of the locker operator: luggagelockers.is/sizes-and-prices

Shops and supermarkets

In the arrivals hall you can use a small grocery supermarket called "1011". It is open 24/7.

About 2 km from the airport towards Reykjavík, you can stop at the larger supermarket Bónus (10:00-20:00) on your way to Reykjavík by car.

Other shops are available up in the transit zone. You can buy outdoor clothing, duty free goods, use the electronics shop, accessories or Icelandic souvenirs.

Restaurant

In the public area of the airport you will only come across a small café called Bakað, which is open for all morning, afternoon and evening departures and arrivals.

After security, the choice of restaurants is considerably greater.

Of the well-known multinational brands, Sbarro pizzeria or Segafredo café are available at the airport. You can also take advantage of Icelandic eateries, a healthy snack bar or an upscale Scandinavian restaurant.

A list of all restaurants can be found on the airport's website: isavia.is//shops-and-restaurants.

ATMs and exchange offices

Arion Bank operates a currency exchange with reasonably good rates. There are also several ATMs in the public area of the airport.

However, you can pay with a card almost everywhere in Iceland, so you probably won't need cash at all.

Travelling with children

All toilets have baby changing facilities.

There are more than 60 errand strollers in the transit area of the terminal, which you can borrow for free for your stay at the airport. Simply leave your stroller at the departure gate when you board your flight.

Showers

Public showers are not available at Keflavik Airport.

Smoking facilities

An enclosed ventilated smoking room is available after security check in the departure gate area D.
