Lanseria serves as a secondary small airport for the Johannesburg-Pretoria conurbation and is currently only used by FlySafair for frequent domestic flights to Cape Town CPT and Durban DUR.

The centre of Johannesburg is 45 km away and the capital Pretoria is 50 km away.

These flights are also supplemented by 1-2 daily services to George GRJ, Port Elizabeth PLZ and East London ELS.

The airport uses one small modern terminal. The check-in process is fast and distances are very short.

If you are travelling with checked baggage, you only need to arrive at the airport 75 minutes before departure. If travelling with hand luggage only, arrive 45-60 minutes before departure.
