Internet and wi-fi

Wi-fi is free for 1 hour via the "TAV-FREE-WIFI" network. You need to log in to the wi-fi with a sms code.

If you do not have roaming, you can get the password to log in from the automated kiosks located throughout the airport, where you must retrieve your passport and boarding pass.

Luggage storage

From 2025, there is no luggage storage or automatic lockers at Izmir Airport.

Shops and supermarket

There is no food supermarket at the airport.

Shopping options are plentiful after passing through security and consist mainly of shops selling duty free goods, jewellery, watches, luxury fashion or souvenirs.

In the domestic terminal, the offer is considerably poorer and focuses mainly on small souvenir shops.

Dining options

There are many fast-food outlets, restaurants and cafés at the airport.

Generally there is a bit more choice after security. In the public area there are more small bistros or cafes with a restaurant outside the terminal by the metro station.

The Popeyes branch in the international terminal is also open 24 hours.

Other airport locations include Starbucks, Caffe Nero and Burger King. A list of all restaurants can be found on the airport's website: adnanmenderesairport.com/food.

Luggage wrapping

You can have your checked bag wrapped in protective film at the kiosk by the check-in desks.

The cost is 10 eur per piece and can be paid by card.

ATMs and exchange offices

ATMs of the regular Turkish banks are located in many places in the arrival halls of both terminals.

The Travelex exchange office offers a very unfavourable exchange rate and it is better to withdraw money from an ATM or exchange money at the Denizbank branch and in the arrivals hall.
