Shops and supermarkets

In the arrivals hall, in the corridor leading towards the metro station, you can buy drinks and light refreshments at the Lulu mini-market , which is open 24/7.

Other shops include, in particular, boutiques selling luxury clothing, as well as shops selling watches, jewellery and travel equipment. Most of the shops are located in the transit area.

In the transit area, you can also make use of the pharmacy, which is open 24/7.

Dining options

Most of the dining options are located in the central departures hall, past security.

You can eat at a wide range of restaurants, from fast-food outlets such as KFC and Burger King, and coffee shops such as Starbucks and Costa Coffee, to more upmarket establishments. The vast majority of restaurants remain open 24 hours a day.

In the public area, for example, there is a Costa Coffee (in the arrivals hall), or very expensive snacks in the departures hall.

Showers

Showers for the public are operated by Be Relax, which also offers massages and manicures. You’ll find showers at three locations in Concourses A, C and D/E.

A 10-minute shower costs 95 qar, and we recommend booking the service online atberelax.com/booking.

Further public showers are also available in the Oryx Lounge, where all passengers can pay for entry. The fee for using the entire lounge, including the showers, is 270 qar.

Luggage storage

Luggage storage is currently not available at the airport.

ATMs and currency exchange

The currency exchange counters at the airport are operated by Travelex at very unfavourable rates, but you can exchange money at better rates at several bank branches.

However, we recommend using thecash machines instead, which are located throughout the terminal, both in the public area and beyond the security check.

Drinking water

In the transit area, you can always fill your own bottle with cold drinking water for free from special fountains located near the toilets.

Smoking areas

Beyond the security checkpoint, you’ll find several smoking areas in the form of small, ventilated cubicles.
