Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in a nutshell
The world’s second-busiest airport in terms of passenger numbers is situated almost exactly halfway between the Texan cities of Dallas and Fort Worth (both approximately 37 km away).
American Airlineshas its main hub here, and the low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines also operates a major hub at the airport.
As well as being the main gateway to the city, Dallas Airport is also a major transit point for travel across the USA and to Central and South America, served by an extensive network of routes.
There is also another smaller airport in Dallas Love Field DAL which serves as a base for Southwest Airlines.
