Chetumal International Airport in a nutshell

Bacalar

This small international airport primarily serves the town of Chetumal, 3 km away, and Bacalar, 38 km away, which is famous for its Seven-Coloured Lagoon.

Chetumal can also be used as a gateway to Belize, which lies just 4 km from the terminal.

Although Chetumal is an international airport, scheduled flights currently operate exclusively within Mexico – direct flights are currently available only to Mexico City.

On average, all major Mexican airlines, such as Viva, Volaris, Aeromexico and Mexicana, fly here 3–6 times a day.
