The airport building is located in a pleasant environment, with a seaside promenade with many local refreshment stands in close proximity.

As the Aeroparque airport is located right in the city, it has limited development opportunities and the single terminal is therefore quite small and often crowded.

However, the check-in process is fast and the distances inside the terminal are very short.

For domestic departures, it is usually sufficient to arrive 75 minutes in advance, while for international departures we recommend at least 90 minutes.

Transfer between flights

Transfers are very well organised at Buenos Aires Aeroparque Newbery Airport if you have a connecting flight ticket purchased in one booking.

There is usually a transfer agent waiting to guide you to the transit corridor as soon as you get off the plane.

International <-> International

When transferring between two international flights, follow the yellow "Connections" signage which will take you through the transit-only security checkpoint straight to the departure gate area.

There is no immigration check.

Upon exiting the aircraft, proceed to immigration control, collect your luggage and exit to the public area.

Then, depending on the sector marked on the departure board, you will go either left or right to the appropriate terminal to check in your baggage and go through security.

Domestic -> International

Upon exiting the aircraft, you will exit the public area and proceed within the same terminal to the international check-in hall where you will check your baggage and go through security.

Domestic <-> Domestic

Upon exiting the aircraft, you will find yourself directly in the departure gate area.

There is no security check.

Overnight stay at the airport - opening hours

The public area of the terminal is open 24/7 and there is no problem to stay overnight inside the concourse.

However, comfortable places to sleep are minimal and many passengers sleep on the ground. A mattress or sleeping bag will come in handy.
