Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Buenos Aires in a nutshell

Buenos Aires

Officially, the airport is named after the Argentine aviator Jorge Newbery, but in everyday use only the name‘Aeroparque’ is used, which can also be found on many departure boards throughout Argentina.

The airport is situated very close to the city centre (about 8 km) and is therefore much more popular than the more distant and larger international airport Ministro Pistarini-Ezeiza EZE.

Aeroparque mainly serves very busy domestic routes within Argentina and regional international routes to Brazil, Chile and Uruguay.
