Scoot in-flight services
Scoot is an ultra-low-cost airline and all services on board are chargeable.
In-flight refreshments
Passengers with an Economy ticket do not receive any refreshments.
Meals can be purchased at the time of booking your ticket or on board. A standard hot meal costs from 13 eur and a light cold snack costs from 7 eur.
Passengers with a "ScootPlus" ticket get one free hot meal.
Entertainment system (IFE)
The seats on Scoot aircraft are not equipped with individual screens.
We therefore recommend downloading a sufficient number of films, series or music to your mobile phone or laptop before the flight.
Wi-fi during the flight
Internet connectivity is only available on Boeing 787 aircraft.
It is considerably cheaper to get internet when you buy it while booking your ticket (about 3 times cheaper than buying it on board). Prices on long-haul flights are as follows:
- 20MB per 3 eur
- 80MB per 7 eur
- 200MB per 14 eur
- 1GB per 48 eur

If you have any questions or comments about the article...
Hello, we’re travelling to Bali with your airline, and I wanted to ask whether I can take my own food from home – such as schnitzel and toast – on board in my hand luggage.
You’re certainly not travelling with our company; you’re posting on a travel website, and I doubt anyone in this community owns a Scoot.
However, feel free to help yourself to a schnitzel.
I think it’s against their rules, but I haven’t noticed anyone checking. If a flight attendant were to take issue with it, I’d point out that they don’t guarantee allergen-free food and say that I’ve brought my own – gluten-free, for example. 😆
I just wouldn’t take a jar of gherkins with it, though.
Just please don’t throw pork chop bones behind the seat.
