Low-cost carrier Jetstar Airways is an Australian airline based in Melbourne. It was established in 2003 as a subsidiary of Qantas Airlines with the aim of tapping the low cost market in Australia.
Jetstar is currently present in other markets with its offshoots:
- Jetstar Asia (3K/JSA) in Singapore,
- Jetstar Japan (GK/JJP) in Tokyo,
- Jetstar Pacific (BL/PIC) in Ho Chi Minh City.
