You can check in at the airport check-in desk at no charge.

Check-in usually opens 2 hours before departure, but at the smallest airports in Canada's north, it may not be available until 75 minutes before departure.

The earliest check-in is 45 minutes before departure at Yellowknife, Iqaluit, Montreal, Edmonton, Ottawa and Winnipeg airports. At all other airports, the check-in counter closes 30 minutes prior to departure.

Online check-in

You can check in online up to 24 hours before your flight.

Online check-in is particularly convenient for passengers with hand luggage only, as they can proceed straight to security once they arrive at the airport.
