Review of Business Lounge at Ostrava Airport

Seating chairs

Although Ostrava Airport is very small with only a few scheduled flights a day, you can visit the lounge after security with comfortable seating and refreshments.

I visited the Ostrava lounge in November 2025. Is it worth paying to visit?

Opening hours and location of the lounge

The lounge can be found in the transit area on the 1st floor.

It takes 2 minutes to walk from security to the lounge and the same time to walk to the departure gates.

If you're flying outside the Schengen area, be sure to leave the lounge a few minutes early - there's still passport control to go through, where there may be a queue of around 5 minutes.

Entrance - who has access to the lounge

The Business Lounge Ostrava is a paid lounge, but members of various loyalty programmes can also access it for free.

  • Paid entry - 649 czk
    • entry can also be booked online
  • Free entry for the following cardholders - Priority Pass, Lounge Key, Dragon Pass, Revolut with Ultra plan (get Revolut here)
  • Free entry for business class passengers and gold card holders - no, not even for passengers with LOT airline, which operates regular flights to Ostrava

Space and atmosphere

The lounge matches the overall size of Ostrava airport.

It has three sections. There are comfortable chairs in the main room, but it's quite exposed and if there are more people in the lounge at the time, this section is the busiest - staff and other passengers are constantly passing through.

The most popular section is on the left, where you'll find 4 dining tables overlooking the tarmac and runway.

On the other hand, the quietest part of the lounge is on the far right towards the toilets.

Food and drink offer

I understand that Ostrava airport is small and by its nature is mainly focused on low-cost and holiday travellers, so it is not worth having a lounge that is well stocked.

Still, I was quite disappointed with the food offer.

The only hot food you can order from the attendant is a toasted panini from Crocodille.

Beyond that, it's basically all junk food - packaged sweets (7 Days croissants and cookies) and muffins.

Of the savoury foods, there are only chips or various crackers.

You can only order coffee from the staff.

All drinks are in two fridges right at the entrance to the lounge.

Available:

  • several bottles of hard liquor (for example, Beefeater vodka, Metaxa, Fernet, Repubblica rum, etc.)
  • red and white wine (1 type) and Bohemia sparkling wine
  • bottled beer (Radegast and Pilsner Urquell)
  • soft drinks in glass bottles (RC Cola, Kofola, Vinea, Targa)
  • water in a plastic bottle

Other services

The Ostrava Lounge does not offer any other services.

There are no showers, children's corner, smoking rooms or anything else.

You can only use the sockets, which are also equipped with USB-A connectors.

Conclusion and my rating

I use the Revolut ultra plan for lounge access, so I get unlimited free access to any lounge.

If you have a similar plan, then the lounge is good for a quick visit if you want coffee or alcohol.

However, if you mainly want to eat, I definitely don't recommend visiting the lounge - there's a much better selection at any airport bistro.

Oh, and if you don't get free entry to the lounge, it's up to your judgement whether it's worth paying 649 czk for a few cookies, bottled beer and other alcohol.
