The SeaGlass Design Carousel is located in Battery Park in southern Manhattan near the Statue of Liberty boat dock.

It opened to the public in 2015 and quickly became an extremely popular attraction for kids and not just kids!

You don't have to worry about looking out of place as an adult. The Seaglass Carousel is visited by absolutely all ages of tourists.

Underwater World Carousel

The carousel is designed to resemble an Underwater World ride, during which visitors sit in gondolas shaped like Siamese fighting fish.

The individual gondolas slowly rotate on their own axis during the ride and also move vertically up and down.

One ride lasts 3.5 minutes.

Admission and opening hours

During the winter period from November to April, the gondola is only open Thursday to Sunday, always 11:00-19:00.

From May to October it is open every day from 9:00-21:00.

The SeaGlass Carousel is a popular attraction, so queues of more than 30 minutes long form in good weather.

The ticket price is 6 usd and is payable inside just before boarding the carousel. The price is flat and applies to both children and adults.
