Another of the islets in the Oslofjord is very different from the popular tourist islands ofHovedøyaand Gressholmen.

Search for hotels with a view of the fjord

Lindøya is an island with a quiet village where local residents live year-round. You won’t find any tourist attractions or beaches here, just footpaths winding between colourful little houses and beautifully tended gardens.

Ideally, head to Lindøya for a 30–60-minute walk in an exceptionally peaceful setting. There are no cars here, and all the locals get around the small island between the two jetties on foot.

Ferry – routes and timetable

To get to Lindøya, take theB1 ferry, which runs on the route Aker Brygge – Hovedøya – Lindøya east – Gressholmen – Bleikøya – Nakkholmen – Lindøya vest – Hovedøya – Aker Brygge.

In summer, the B1 service runs twice an hour, whilst in winter it runs only once an hour.
