The popular Bank of Canada Museum is located in the Bank's headquarters, directly across from the East Block building on Parliament Hill.

An extensive collection of currencies from around the world
Inside the museum, you'll discover over 100,000 artifacts related to currencies from around the world.
Most interesting, of course, are the collections of coins and banknotes, with an emphasis on the Canadian dollar, its history and its future.
You'll also see coin and note-making tools, cash registers, ledgers, numismatic medals and examples of counterfeit money.
Admission and opening hours
The museum is open every day from 10:00-17:00.
Admission is free for all visitors.
