Château Laurier

Fairmont Chateau Laurier

Château Laurier is an iconic hotel and one of the most famous in all of Canada.

The lavish luxury building sits in the heart of downtown Ottawa overlooking the Rideau Canal locks, Parliament Hill and Major's Hill Park.

The hotel was constructed between 1909 and 1912 by the Grand Trunk Railway and has been one of the most luxurious in Canada since its inception.

The ornate Neo-Gothic architectural style transitions into monumental and opulent interior spaces. You can visit the hotel's main hall for free even if you are not a hotel guest.

The hotel currently has 429 rooms and now operates as part of the All Accor chain and one of its most luxurious brands, Fairmont.

Prices for the cheapest double rooms per night are around 500 cad.
