Only the second direct air link between Europe and Mongolia will be launched by the Mongolian low-cost airline Eznis Airways. From 10 July, it will fly twice a week between Ulaanbaatar and Prague.
Eznis Airways is a renewed airline based at Ulaanbaatar UBN airport. It is one of the youngest airlines in the IATA association, having been awarded membership at the 80th IATA Annual General Assembly during the World Air Transport Summit held in Dubai on 2-4 June 2024.
The flights will be operated by a wide-body Airbus A330-200 aircraft, registration JU-1332, with a total capacity for 256 passengers. It is also the only aircraft currently operated by the airline.
In addition to Prague, Eznis Airways is also expected to start flying to Hong Kong, Busan and Chongju.
Mongolia's second direct link to Europe
So far, the only direct route from Mongolia to Europe is operated by Mongolia's national airline MIAT to Frankfurt, Germany.
Ulaanbaatar - Prague
The new route with Eznis Airways from Ulaanbaatar to Prague will have a flight time of 7 hours and 50 minutes and is currently scheduled to run from 10 July to 26 October, the duration of the summer schedule.
The flights will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays at the following times:
Route | Flight number | Day | Departure | Arrival |

Tickets can now be purchased directly from the airline's website eznis.com. The cheapest return ticket at EZ Bird can be purchased for 399 usd, which is an unbeatable offer considering the direct connection and the summer and summer holiday period.
This price does not include checked baggage, which can be purchased for $70 one way. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets at a higher fare, see luggage with Eznis Airways.
