A city bus runs to the terminal, and taxis, car hire companies and the Bolt mobile app are available.

Bus route 10

There is a stop for city bus route number 10 right outside the terminal.

This connects Poprad Airport with the main bus station in the centre of Poprad, which is also located near the railway station.

• The service runs 10 times a day to cover all scheduled departures and arrivals
• The journey time is 7–10 minutes
• You can find the timetable, for example, on the imhd.sk website

Tickets

You can easily buy a ticket from the driver using a contactless card or cash.

• 1,20 eur – 30-minute fare
• 1,60 eur – 60-minute fare (only worth it if you’re travelling to the outskirts of Poprad; generally not suitable for tourists)

Taxi / Bolt

There are usually plenty of taxis waiting outside the airport building for every scheduled arrival. The official service is provided byradiotaxi-poprad.sk.

Fares are charged by the meter; if the taxi driver refuses to switch it on, get out and find another taxi.

Prices are as follows:

• Poprad city centre (railway station) – approx. 8 eur
• Štrbské Pleso – approx. 32 eur
• Tatranská Lomnica – approx. 25 eur

The Bolt mobile app is also available in Poprad, offering lower fares than taxis – to Poprad city centre for around 6 eur.

However, the availability of cars is quite limited, so we recommend booking a Bolt immediately after you’ve collected your luggage or left the transit area.

Car hire

Several car hire companies have branches at the airport, such as Budget and Sixt.
