Pokhara Airport in a nutshell
This small airport is situated practically right in the centre of the Nepalese city of Pokhara and, since 2023, when the new Pokhara International Airport opened, it has been used exclusively for domestic flights.
There are frequent flights from here to Kathmandu or Jomsom. However, most Nepalese airlines serve both Pokhara airports, so please check carefully where you are actually flying from and to.
- Pokhara International PHH = the new airport, further from the city centre
- Pokhara Domestic PKR = the old airport in the city centre
All international flights are handled at the new Pokhara International Airport ( PHH).
