Transportation from Podgorica Airport

Krystof Hajek updated 5. 11. 2023

The most convenient transport from the airport is by taxi or car rental. There is no public transport directly to the airport terminal.

Car rental

Take a road-trip through the mountains or Montenegrin resorts and enjoy the beautiful nature of this small Balkan country.

Several large international car rental companies operate in the arrivals hall. Prices for weekly rentals in the summer season start at amounts from 230 eur.

There are no mobile apps such as Uber, Lyft or Bolt operating in Podgorica, but there are plenty of regular taxis waiting outside the arrivals hall at all hours of the day and night.

Payment is always in cash and usually no meter is used. Prices to the main Montenegrin destinations are flat.

  • Podgorica - 12 eur
  • Cetinje - 30 eur
  • Bar - 30 eur
  • Budva - 45 eur
  • Kotor - 55 eur
  • Skadar - 50 eur
