Podgorica Airport in a nutshell
Montenegro’s busiest airport is situated in Golubovci, 10 km south of the centre of the capital, Podgorica, and 38 km from the nearest seaside resort, Sutomore.
The airport is home to the national airline, Air Montenegro, whilst Ryanair and Wizz Air also offer low-cost flights to several European cities.
In terms of size and traffic, the airport is classified as small, with regular flights mainly to Western Europe and neighbouring countries. The terminal is very small and compact. It is a walk of roughly 50–100 metres from the entrance to the terminal building to the aircraft.

During the summer season, Tivat Airport (TIV ), situated right on the coast, can be a good alternative, as many seasonal flights operate there from May to September.
