Getting from Phu Quoc Airport
The airport is accessible by free VinBus buses. Most travellers head to the hotel by taxi or have a hotel transfer arranged.
Public bus - VinBus
There are two lines of VinBus, which is operated by the VinPearl hotel and theme park chain. However, these lines can be used by all passengers even if they are not staying at the hotels of the chain.
VinBus operates modern, air-conditioned buses.
There are two routes to the airport:
- Route 17 - runs along the west coast through the largest city of Phu Quoc to the Grand World Resort.
- Frequency - 15 minutes
- Last bus from the airport - 3:10
- First bus from Grand World Resort - 1:30, 2:00, 4:00, 4:30
- Timetable and map: maps.vinbus.vn/route17
- Route 19 - runs along the west coast through the largest city of Phu Quoc to the Grand World Resort, also runs south from the airport to the InterContinental Resort
- Frequency - runs 10 times a day
- Timetable and map: maps.vinbus.vn/route19
Ticket prices are calculated by zone and a single ride costs between 10 000 vnd and 40 000 vnd.
Hotel transfer
If you will be staying at one of the larger and more expensive resorts, these hotels often offer their own airport transfer service, but this is not included. Usually expect to pay around 700 000 vnd.
If you're heading to Phu Quoc Island as part of an organised tour, a delegate from your tour operator will be waiting at the airport to organise a free transfer to your hotel.
Taxi
There are always plenty of official taxis waiting outside the terminal. You can only pay in cash.
Prices are calculated according to distance. In general, a 1 km ride costs approximately 12 000 vnd.

Unfortunately, VinBus is not free anymore, and it doesn't pay much in multiple people. The bus from the airport leaves from an unmarked stop on the right side of the parking lot.
Thanks for the update.
