Phu Quoc International Airport in a nutshell

Phu Quoc

The popular Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc has its own international airport in its southern part.

The busiest connections are to mainland Vietnam, especially to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, where there are several flights a day. Because Phu Quoc is visa exempt, many direct international flights also fly into the airport.

Very frequent routes lead to Seoul, Korea, for example, but also to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. Phu Quoc is also served by direct charter flights from Europe, for example from Prague.

Phu Quoc Island is exempt from visa requirements under the following conditions:

  • The stay on the island must not exceed 30 days.
  • You must arrive on the island on an international flight. You cannot use this policy if you are connecting at any Vietnamese airport.
  • It is not possible to visit the mainland as part of a visa-free stay
