Transfer at Phnom Penh Techo Airport

Techo-Phom Penh uses one terminal common to all departures and arrivals.
International departures are on the 1st floor, while the ground floor houses domestic departures and all arrivals.
The building dates back to 2025 and is modern and very spacious. Clear signage guides you to the departure gates through immigration and security within 15 minutes.
Immigration check upon arrival
Except for Southeast Asian countries, most travelers to Cambodia need a visa.
You can arrange your visa in advance through the official website evisa.gov.kh. This avoids a visit to a special visa issuing counter on arrival and allows you to head straight to a quick passport check. You will usually save yourself a 10-30 minute wait.
However, electronic visas are more expensive than a visa on arrival. They cost 35 usd + 7 usd administrative fee.
Arrival visas cost 30 usd and are processed before passport control. You must pay cash in US dollars. Please note that there is no ATM outside immigration control, only a currency exchange office with a rather unfavorable exchange rate. It is therefore better to arrive in Cambodia with cash already exchanged.
Transfer between flights
Phnom Penh airport is not one of the typical transfer hubs, but it still has a direct transfer option through the transit zone.
Follow the signs International Connections, which will lead you to a security checkpoint for transfer passengers only.
There is no passport control and if you have purchased both flights as one booking, you do not need to collect your luggage - it will be transferred automatically.
Transfer times are usually between 15-25 minutes.
