ATMs and currency exchange

You'll find 7 Bank or Lawson ATMs, where foreign credit cards work seamlessly, at the Lawson store in the arrivals hall or at the monorail station.

The fee for withdrawals over ¥20,000 is 220 jpy. If you withdraw less than ¥20,000, you will only pay 110 jpy.

Luggage storage

Automatic luggage lockers are located at several locations in both terminals and are accessible 24/7.

For storage within 24 hours, pay between 400 jpy and 600 jpy depending on the size of the locker.

Payment can only be made with cash or Japanese IC transport cards.

Shops and supermarket

In the central atrium between the terminals on the 1st floor (public area), you can buy fast food to go at the Lawson mini-market (6am-11pm).

There is a pharmacy on the 2nd floor of the central block (6:00-21:00).

After passing through security there are several shops selling souvenirs, books or travel gear.

Dining options

Both terminals are equipped with a large number of local bistros, restaurants, cafes, as well as local fast-food outlets. International chains such as Starbucks operate at Itami Airport.

There is more choice in the public area. After passing through security you will find mainly cafes or sushi restaurants.

Observation deck

Itami Airport has, in my opinion, one of the best observation decks I've ever visited.

It is accessible for free when the airport terminal is open and the entrance is from the public area of both terminals.

Luggage wrapping

Baggage wrapping service is not currently available at Itami Airport.

Smoking rooms

Smoking rooms are available in many areas of both terminals after security check.

Vending machines

Vending machines selling drinks, sweets and sandwiches are located in several places in the public and transit areas.

You can only pay with cash.
