Mediterranee Airport, also known as Fréjorgues, is situated 10 km from the major southern French city of Montpellier.

As well as serving the Languedoc-Roussillon region, it also caters for holidaymakers from across much of Europe during the summer. Long, wide, sandy beaches begin just a few kilometres from the terminal.

Montpellier Airport is relatively small, but traffic here is quite busy.

There are very frequent flights to Paris (operated by Air France and Transavia), and flights to other French destinations such as Nantes, Brest and Strasbourg operate on average 4–10 times a week.
