Getting from Lihue Airport

There is a bus stop directly in front of the terminal, but the vast majority of passengers use rental cars to get around Kauai.
Car rental
The best method of transportation to/from the airport is to use one of the many international car rental companies located in the arrivals hall of the terminal.
The island of Kauai is typically a place not worth going to at all unless you plan to rent a car - without one, you won't have a chance to visit most of the island' s main attractions.
Rental car prices at Lihue Airport normally range between 130 usd and 300 usd per week.
