Overnight in the terminal - opening hours
All Kuwait Airport terminals are open 24/7 and it's no problem to spend the night inside the building.
There are quite a few cushioned, backless seats in the public area that are quite comfortable to sleep on. Expect constant noise, however, as one of the main waves of departures and arrivals takes place at Kuwait Airport during the night.
Also be prepared for a heavily air-conditioned environment.
Hotels near the terminal
During the massive airport redevelopment, the Safir Airport Hotel is out of service and there are currently no hotels within walking distance of the terminals.
The nearest hotel that offers a complimentary shuttle service to/from the airport is located approximately 3 km north of the airport in the direction of downtown.
