Kuressaare Airport in a nutshell
The only airport on the Estonian island of Saaremaa is situated 3.5 km south-east of the historic spa town of Kuressaare.
Passengers are served by a very small terminal, which has just three check-in desks, a security checkpoint and a small waiting area by the single departure gate.
The entire check-in process usually takes no longer than 15 minutes, so it is sufficient to arrive at the airport 40 minutes before departure.
Currently, there is only one route operated by NyxAir from Tallinn Airport to Kuressaare all year round, with flights 1–2 times a day.
Finnair also operates seasonal summer flights to Helsinki Airport.
During the winter season, there is also a service to the island of Ruhnu and the port city of Pärnu.

The airport does not only serve domestic regional flights; during the season, Finnair also flies here several times a week from Helsinki. NyxAir flies to Tallinn once or twice a day. There are two check-in desks.
Airport opening hours:
Mon–Fri 7.25–19.55.
Sat 9.30–14.30
Sun 9.55–19.55.

Ah, I see that Finnair is new this year. Interesting – I’ll update that.
From 10 to 31 August, the airport is closed for maintenance work. So you’ll just have to take the bus from Tallinn.
