The only airport on the Estonian island of Saaremaa is located 3.5 km southeast of the historic spa town of Kuressaare and serves only domestic regional traffic.

Passengers are served by a very small terminal with only 3 check-in counters, a security checkpoint and a small waiting area at the single departure gate.

The entire check-in process usually takes no longer than 15 minutes, so it is sufficient to arrive at the airport 40 minutes before departure.

Currently there is only one NyxAir flight to Kuressaare from Tallinn Airport year-round, flying 2-3 times a day.

During the winter season, there are also flights to Ruhnu Island and the port city of Pärnu.
