Transport from Košice Airport: My Tips
The airport is situated 11 km from the centre of Košice and is connected to the public transport network.
Bus route 32
A direct bus service, number 23 , runs to the city centre and the main railway and coach stations, with departures on average 1–2 times per hour.

When travelling from the city centre, some services only go as far as the Faurecia industrial estate, so please pay close attention to the destination of the service you are taking.
You can buy a ticket from the ticket machine at the bus stop (cash or card accepted) or on board the bus (card only).
Alternatively, you can buy tickets more cheaply via the HOPIN mobile app, although you’ll need to top up your account with a minimum balance of 5 eur.

At weekends, a 60-minute group ticket is also available for 1,50 eur for up to 2 adults and 6 children.
Taxi, Uber, Bolt
Taxis to the centre of Košice operate at a fixed price of 18 eur.
The Uber and Bolt mobile apps also operate in Košice, and using them will make your journey to the city centre significantly cheaper.
Depending on current demand, the price ranges from 6 eur to 9 eur.
Car hire
Explore the Slovak countryside or the High Tatras and set off to discover nature without having to keep an eye on timetables.
There are many car hire companies from well-known brands operating at Košice Airport. Prices for a 3-day hire start at 90 eur.

Uber and Bolt are already fully operational in Košice, the price from the train station to the airport is around 8-9€.

The 60-minute weekend group ticket for 1.5 EUR is also not mentioned.
The HOPIN app has a significant drawback – the minimum top-up amount is 5 EUR.
Furthermore, it is not true that the bus only runs once every two hours at the weekend. It usually runs twice an hour.
Tickets can be bought either from a ticket machine using a card or on the bus, where there is a terminal.
