Slovakia’s second-largest airport is situated about 6 km south of the centre of Košice, near the steelworks.
Košice Airport is one of the smallest in Europe, but it has a relatively extensive network of routes. Ryanair operates flights to the British Isles and Prague, though other airlines also fly to Košice.

The lounge here opens at 3:30 most of the week for the first morning flights. I'm alone in it before 7am, comfortable, spacious, plenty of snacks, a selection of soft drinks plus beer, wine, spirits. No fresh food. They write down entries by hand on paper, I'm the sixth guest this month on PP:)
