Komodo Labuan Bajo International Airport in a nutshell

Komodo International Airport is located in the centre of Labuan Bajo on the west coast of the Indonesian island of Flores.
It got its name because of its proximity to the popular Komodo Islands, where ships sail from Labuan Bajo.
The single small terminal is a 2-minute walk away, yet Komodo Airport is the largest of the three airports on Flores.
The vast majority of flights are to Bali or Jakarta, with Bati Air, AirAsia and Citilink offering the most flights.
The only international service is to Kuala Lumpur via AirAsia.

From 20/3/2025, a second international service from Labuan Bajo, Jetstar 2x weekly to Singapore.
Otherwise, the current price to transport from the airport to the center (it's about 2-3 minutes) - taxis at arrivals offer a price of 50 thousand. IDR, pre-arranged transfers from hotels in the city or private drivers usually 70 ths. IDR (which is a difference of about 1 USD)
That's very nice. And the sub-3k prices are great. I hope to go there again after all these years.
I definitely recommend it. It's one of the destinations that will soon be overrun by overtourism. So far it's so on the edge, but LBJ is supposedly the fastest growing city/region in Indonesia. And as long as the entrance fee to Komodo NP is at a relatively decent level - we paid 350k for O Rinca. IDR/person. And I definitely recommend going further east on Flores - Kelimutu Lake, Koka Beach, Maumere area
Well once the international lines start opening, it's the ultimate everywhere. I just want to go as far east as possible, which I didn't get to do last time.I visited Komodo and Rinca years ago, so I'm not interested in that at all.
