Sleeping in the terminal – opening hours

The public area of Kaunas Terminal is open 24/7. You can go through security screening up to approximately 1.5 hours before the first departure.

Sleeping in the terminal is not very comfortable, as the building is very cramped and the seats on the first floor, which have no backrests, can be taken quite early in the evening by travellers who have decided to spend the night at the airport.

Hotels near the airport

There are several accommodation options within easy walking distance.

• Air Hotel *** – a modern hotel directly opposite the terminal (1–2 minutes’ walk), 24/7 reception
• Air Kaunas – a small, older hotel with simple, clean rooms, 800 metres from the terminals; reception open until 23:30; after that, self-service check-in is available using a code sent to you by the hotel on the day of arrival

You can find much cheaper accommodation with a wide selection of quality hotels and student hostels in the centre of Kaunas.
