The terminal is well stocked with shops selling fashion, accessories, jewellery, souvenirs or travel essentials.

Most of the shops can be found after the security checkpoint, but even on the 1st floor of the public area you will find a long corridor with many shops (in Terminal B).

In both the public and transit section you can use the pharmacy open from 6:00-22:00.

Luggage storage

The A-Teck baggage room is located on the underground level below the central arrivals hall on the way to the car park. It is necessary to descend one floor from the ground floor by escalator or elevator.

Signage further on states that the baggage room is straight ahead towards the car park, but this signage is incorrect and you will find the baggage room immediately to the left.

For 12-24 hours, pay 100 zar and for 6-12 hours, pay 90 zar.

You can only pay in cash.

It is open 24/7.

ATMs and exchange offices

Throughout the airport you will find a number of ATMs from local banks such as Nedbank, ABSA, Netbank and Standard Bank, from which you can also withdraw with foreign cards.

Upon arrival, you'll find ATMs right on the ground floor, but more are located 1 floor up.

Traditional currency exchange offices are available in the public area of the arrivals hall, but rates are usually more favourable for regular banks through their ATMs.

Post Office

There is a South African Post Office on the ground floor of the main terminal near the arrivals hall, open daily, including weekends, 8am-7pm.

Smoking rooms

Smoking rooms were nowhere to be found after the security check.

Smoking is only allowed outside in the small park between the terminal and the hotel.

Observation deck on the airport apron

At the end of Terminal A on the 3rd floor, you can visit the indoor observation deck for free and 24/7 with a nice view of the tarmac and one runway.
