Hurghada Airport uses one terminal shared by both domestic and international flights.
The building is modern and very spacious. Although queues can be long in high season, security checks are quick and there is plenty of seating in the transit area.
Immigration control and visa
On arrival, visit the bank counters first to purchase an Egyptian visa for 25 usd and you can exchange money straight away at decent rates.
You can pay in both US dollars and euros. Due to the exchange rate, it is more convenient to pay in US dollars.
After that, you'll get in line for the immigration check. The usual waiting time in line is between 20 and 45 minutes,
Transferring between flights
Hurghada is not typically a transfer airport and therefore does not have a direct transfer option through the transit zone.
If you schedule a transfer in Hurghada on your own, you will always have to go through immigration and check in again.
