Hotel right in the terminal

There is no hotel located in the transit area, but you can stay at the Comfort Xpress Helsinki Airport Terminal *** immediately after you exit to the public area on the left, right in the arrivals hall.

We tried this hotel during our 2025 trip as we wanted a hotel with the shortest walking distance.

The hotel is located in the basement and the rooms have no windows. It takes about 2 minutes to walk to the front desk from the arrivals hall.

Next time we would personally prefer to use the Clarion Hotel below, which has a standard above ground building and also has an entrance directly from the terminal. The walking distance is only about 1 minute longer than the Comfort Xpress Terminal Hotel.

Directly in front of the terminal with a walking distance of up to 5 minutes you will find 3 hotels that offer identical rates around 180 eur per night.

• Clarion Helsiniki Airport **** - entrance directly from the terminal near the railway station
• Scandic Helsinki Airport **** - to the right of the terminal near the bus stops (approx. 150 metres)
• Hilton Helsinki Airport ***** - to the right of the terminal by the bus stops (approx. 150 metres)

Hotels in the vicinity

There are many other hotels in the immediate vicinity of the airport at significantly lower prices starting from 80 eur.

The disadvantage of these hotels is that you have to take a public bus to the terminal.

• Clarion Hotel Aviapolis **** - Prices from 180 eur, accessible by bus lines 562, 574, 576 and night bus line 431N (stop "Mekaanikontie" about 5 minutes from the airport)
• Forenom Hostel Vantaa Airport - rooms with shared bathroom from 80 eur, available on bus line 576 (bus stop "Ilmailulaitos" approx. 3 minutes from the airport)
