Frankfurt Airport offers a very wide range of shops, from luxury fashion boutiques to small stalls selling travel essentials.

The vast majority of shops are located in the transit area. You can visit shops such as Hugo Boss, Burberry, Gucci, Gant, Jack Wolfskin, Samsonite, Swarovski and many others.

There are restaurants in both the public area and beyond security, but a wider selection is available in the transit area. The well-known fast-food chain McDonald’s can be found in the public area of both terminals and in the transit area of Terminal 2.

Luggage storage

Luggage storage facilities are available in both terminals.

In Terminal 1, one is open 24 hours a day in Arrivals Hall B and from 06:00 to 22:00 between Departures Halls B and C.

In Terminal 2, the service is also open from 06:00 to 22:00 in the arrivals hall.

The price for 24 hours starts at 9,50 eur.

Showers

From 6.00 am to 11.00 pm, you can also use the public showers located at several points throughout both terminals; see the detailed list. The charge for these starts at 6 eur. The price includes the hire of a bath towel.

Drinking water

In the transit area, after passing through security, you will find more than 30 drinking fountains in both terminals.

You can fill your own bottle with cold water free of charge, but hot water is also available for preparing baby food or making tea.

Travelling with children

Baby care facilities can be found throughout the airport, typically near the toilets in busy areas of the terminal.

Observation deck

On the top floor of the public area of Terminal 2, you can visit the observation deck and watch the activity on the apron.

Smoking lounges

Drinking water

Drinking fountains providing cold drinking water are located in many places beyond the security check in all terminals.

Unfortunately, the taps are positioned in such a way that it is rather difficult to fill an empty bottle from them.

Vending machines selling drinks, sweets and crisps are located throughout the airport, in both the public and transit areas.
