Hotels and sleeping at Dublin Airport

Night Bridge in Dublin

Due to the many ticket sales with Aer Lingus connecting flights in Dublin, it can sometimes be useful to stay overnight at the airport due to a necessary overnight change. Similarly, a hotel near the airport can be useful for very early departures or late arrivals.

Hotels near the terminal

There are two quality hotels right on the airport grounds:

Prices for all hotels are similar and start at 180 eur per night.

Hotels in the surrounding area

An ideal alternative is the Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport 4*, which is a third cheaper than those in the terminal and offers a 24-hour shuttle service from the airport, which is 2.5 kilometres away. There are also family rooms for 2 adults and 2 children for almost the same price as a double.

Also within walking distance of the terminal are the Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport **** and the Premier Inn Dublin Airport ***, which also offers family rooms and free breakfast for children if there is at least 1 paying adult.

Overnight accommodation in the terminal

Both terminals are open 24 hours a day and overnight stays inside the buildings are possible.

However, you will look in vain for comfortable seats in the public areas of the terminals. Travellers solve this problem by sleeping on the ground on mattresses. However, expect the quietest seats to be occupied around 10pm.
