Internet and Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is available free of charge and without any time limit. Select the network ‘Free Wi-Fi at Tianfu International Airport’.

You’ll need to log in to the internet using a password, which you can obtain from the self-service kiosks located throughout the airport after scanning your passport.

Luggage storage

There are two luggage storage facilities at the airport. The fee for storage for up to 24 hours ranges from 18 cny to 40 cny.

• Terminal 1 – Departures Hall, near Check-in B, open 24/7
• Terminal 2 – departures hall near check-in G, open 4.30 am–11.00 pm

ATMs and currency exchange offices

There are many currency exchange offices at the airport, but their rates are not particularly favourable.

It is much better to withdraw money from Bank of China ATMs, which allow most international cards (such as Revolut) to make free withdrawals. ATMs are located in many places throughout the airport.

Foreign cards do not usually work at Agricultural Bank of China cash machines.

Shops and supermarkets

The terminals feature a wide range of shops selling luxury fashion, jewellery, watches and travel gear.

There are also manyduty free shops.

Most shops are located beyond the security checkpoint.

There are also several mini-markets at the airport selling light snacks to take away:

• 7-ELEVEN– Terminal 1, public area, arrivals, 8:00–23:00
• 7-ELEVEN– Terminal 2, public area, departures, 7:00–22:00
• Family Mart – Terminal 2, public area, arrivals, 8.00–23.00

Dining options

Tainfu Airport is well equipped with local restaurants and international fast-food outlets.

There is a wider selection beyond security, although you won’t find many restaurants in the international section in particular, and only a few outlets remain open overnight.

Most outlets are open from 06:00 to 22:00, and there are currently no restaurants at the airport that are open 24/7.

International chains available include Starbucks, KFC and Dairy Queen.

Drinking water

After security, there are dispensers providing both cold and hot drinking water in all terminals.

You can fill your own bottle here for free, which you can easily take through security.

Showers

There are no public showers at Tianfu Airport, and showers are generally not available in premium lounges either.

Luggage wrapping

A luggage wrapping service using protective film is available at the check-in counters in the departure halls of both terminals.

The price per piece of luggage ranges from 10 cny to 40 cny depending on its size.
