Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport in a nutshell

Romania’s largest airport, officially known as ‘Henri Coanda Aeroportul’, is the main hub for the national carrier TAROM and also one of the largest hubs for the low-cost airline Wizz Air.

Most European airlines operate flights to Bucharest from many destinations across the continent. You can book flights outside Europe, particularly to Asia and Australia, via qatarairways.com, for example.

The airport terminal is situated approximately 19 km north of the city centre.
