The second largest airport in the Czech Republic is located in the Tuřany district of Brno and serves mainly charter and low-cost flights. It is about 10 km away from the centre of Brno.
While in the summer there is a lively air traffic with many tourist routes to the Mediterranean, the airport is orphaned in the winter when only 1-2 Ryanair flights a day remain here.
The airport has a single small terminal, divided into departures and arrivals. There is no problem to arrive 60 minutes before departure. Opening hours are 24 hours.
