Internet and wi-fi

You can connect to wifi (@Airport Free Wi-Fi by NT) for free. You need to fill in your name and email, but there is no need to verify, so feel free to make up all the details.

Wifi always works for 1 hour, after that you need to log in again. This process can be repeated over and over again.

Don't delay after arrival by buying a physical sim card. Get a Thai data e-sim quickly and easily at airalo.com.

Luggage storage

Baggage storage is located on the 2nd floor of the domestic terminal (Airportels service) between 6:00 and 0:00. You can pay for one hour's storage at 21 thb, daily maximum at 100 thb. You can book online at airportels.asia.

Another storage facility at similar prices is operated directly by the airport and is open from 8:00 to 20:00 in the connecting corridor between the terminals.

Shops and supermarkets

There are several 7 Eleven supermarkets (24/7) in the transit area and in the public area of the domestic terminal on the way to the train.

After the security check of both terminals, you will find duty free shops and a large variety of shopping options from luxury clothing brands to souvenir shops.

The transit area of both terminals will also offer a Boots pharmacy (5:00-20:00)

There are no shops in the public area of the airport (apart from 7 Eleven and Boots Pharmacy).

Restaurants

Restaurants can be found in greater numbers after security, where fast-food outlets are also available. However, prices here are about a third to a half higher than normal in Thailand.

On the way to the station, however, you'll come across a cheap eatery with local cuisine called "Airport Street Food by Magic Food Park" (6am-8pm). Another branch is located at the north end of Terminal 1 (public area).

Which restaurants have the longest opening hours?

  • Burger King: fast food - public area between terminals (24/7)
  • Starbucks: coffee shop - transit area, Terminal 2 (4:30-22:00)
  • Mc Donald's: fast food - transit area, terminal 2 (24/7)

Both terminals also have a large number of small local Thai restaurants, which are usually open from about 6:30am to 8:00pm.

A list of all dining options is available on the website: donmueang.airportthai.co.th/shop-and-dine.

ATMs

ATMs are literally scattered throughout both terminals. Every Thai bank has an ATM here.

There is always a fee for ATM withdrawals 220 thb, however, for larger withdrawals ATMs can be more convenient than currency exchange offices. These offer relatively good rates, but your bank may have set a more favourable rate.

Exchange offices are open 24/7.

Showers

Showers are not available to the public at the airport.

Drinking water

After security check and in the public area, there are always cold drinking water fountains near the toilets, from which you can fill your own bottle free of charge.
