Hotels near the airport
Directly opposite the terminal (maximum 50 metres walk) you can stay at the Sofitel Athens Airport *****. Prices in a 2-bed room for one night start at about 220 eur.
The only cheap accommodation with free airport transfers is the small guesthouse Apartments Tina with prices around 73 eur per night. It is located north of the airport out of reach of the metro.
Hotels in Athens
A good place to stay to get to the airport is the central Syntagma Square, where the metro and the 24/7 airport shuttle bus run.
