When you fly with Tailwind Airlines, you will be entitled to one free carry-on and checked baggage allowance.
Carry-on baggage
You can carry 1 piece of hand baggage free of charge, in the following sizes:
- 55 x 40 x 20 cm and 8 kg
Duty-free purchases packed in the original shop bag can also be transported free of charge.
As the company provides transport exclusively for travel agents, hand luggage limits are not strictly controlled.
Checked baggage
The specific checked baggage allowance is always stated in the travel contract.
The standard rule of thumb is 1 piece of checked baggage of 20 kg per passenger. Weights cannot be added between passengers.
Overweight charges are payable at the rate of 8 eur per kilogram. The maximum baggage weight is 32 kg.
Strollers for children
Strollers for small children are carried free of charge. You check it in at the airport counter and hand it over before boarding.
Children under 2 years old are not entitled to free checked baggage.
