Icelandair in-flight services

Icelandair

Icelandair is a hybrid airline between a traditional and a low-cost carrier. Most of the services on board are therefore chargeable.

In-flight refreshments

Economy class passengers get a free selection of soft drinks, all other food is charged.

You can already select and pay for refreshments in advance when you buy your ticket. A sandwich or baguette costs from 11 usd, a full hot meal from 24 usd.

You can also order food during the flight, but you can only pay by card.

Wifi on board

Most aircraft in the Icelandair fleet are equipped with an internet connection, which starts at about 10,000 feet (about 10-15 minutes after take-off).

The price for wi-fi is uniform and the speed also allows streaming of videos or music.

  • Flights between Europe and Iceland - 12 eur for the entire flight
  • Flights between Europe and America - 24 eur for the entire flight

Internet is not available on the small turboprop aircraft that operate domestic flights within Iceland and international flights to Greenland or the Faroe Islands.

For more information on wifi on board, visit the airline's website: icelandair.com/internet.

On all flights, you can enjoy a free on-board entertainment system via screens in each seat. (Bring your own headphones, the erar ones are only for a fee).
