Freebird Airlines offers one free carry-on bag as standard
Passengers travelling on a charter flight with a travel agent usually also get free checked baggage.
Carry-on baggage
Passengers can always take 1 piece of hand luggage with them on board, measuring 55 x 40 x 20 cm.
The maximum weight allowed is 8 kg.
In addition, you can take 1 small personal item that can easily fit under the seat in front of you. This can include a small ladies handbag, laptop, camera, coat or bag from the airport duty-free shop.
Checked baggage
When travelling with Freebird Airlines you have the option to purchase tickets in 4 fares:
- EasyBird - no checked baggage
- EcoBird - 1 piece of checked baggage up to 20 kg
- SmartBird - 1 piece of checked baggage up to 25 kg
- PremiumBird - 1 piece of checked baggage up to 30 kg
It costs 20 eur to add checked baggage on the EasyBird plan, so it's worth buying the more expensive EcoBird plan straight away.
Different rules apply for passengers on charter flights with a travel agent. As standard, each passenger is allowed to check in one piece of luggage weighing a maximum of 20 kg.
This also applies to charter flights operated for Czech, German, Polish, British or Romanian travel agents.
Strollers for children
Small children may take a pushchair with them on the journey. It must be tagged at the check-in counter and then handed in before boarding the aircraft. The stroller is free of charge.
Children under 2 years of age are not entitled to carry any hand luggage.

This is standard for most airlines - the sum of all three dimensions should not exceed 158 cm. But all normal suitcases will fit into this.
On a charter flight, can we take a small bag as well as our hand luggage on board?
