Economy Class passengers get a free cabin bag 55 x 40 x 23 cm up to 7 kg.

Passengers in business class "Cloud 9" have 2 free carry-on bags, each measuring 55 x 40 x 23 cm and each up to 7 kg. In addition, they can also carry one of the personal items listed above.
Checked baggage
All passengers, even with the cheapest "Economy Promo" fare, are entitled to free checked baggage, normally 2 pieces up to 23 kg.
The sum of all checked baggage dimensions should not exceed 158 cm.
However, on some routes the limit is increased.

Baggage for children
Infants under 2 years of age have generous baggage allowance on Ethiopian Airlines.
They can carry 1 piece of checked baggage up to 23 kg free of charge on all flights. Extra hand luggage can only be a small bag with food and drink for the duration of the flight, a baby car seat and a stroller.
