When travelling with Bulgaria Air, you are entitled to free carriage of at least 1 piece of small hand luggage and 1 personal item.
Carry-on baggage
On all Bulgaria Air flights you are entitled to carry two pieces of hand luggage, regardless of the fare purchased.
In particular, the dimensions are checked and must not exceed 55x40x23 cm for standard cabin baggage and 30x40x10 cm for personal items (laptop, handbag, etc.).
The total weight of hand luggage must be less than 10 kg.
If you arrive at the departure gate with hand luggage that exceeds the dimensions, it will be checked into the aircraft's baggage compartment for a fee 30 eur to 70 eur depending on the length of your itinerary.
Checked baggage
You are only entitled to carry checked baggage up to 23 kg free of charge if you have purchased a Economy SAVER, Economy PLUS or business class fare.

- Sum of all dimensions - up to 158 cm
Weight is always checked. Dimensions are only checked for obviously oversized baggage.
You are not entitled to free baggage transport on the cheapest Economy HAND BAG fare.
If you want to travel with your luggage, buy the more expensive fare directly. The difference in price between the HAND BAG and SAVER fares is equal to the price of checked baggage purchased in addition to the HAND BAG fare.

Overweight charges
If your baggage weighs between 23 kg and 32 kg, you will pay an overweight fee at the airport of 50 eur to 60 eur depending on your route.
The same amount is payable for a second extra bag.
Baggage weighing more than 32 kg may not be carried.

Strollers for children
If you are flying with small children, you are entitled to a free stroller, car seat or travel cot. You must check in the pushchair at the check-in desk and hand it over when you board the aircraft.
Children under 2 years of age are entitled to free carriage of checked baggage up to 10 kg, but only if the accompanying adult has purchased a fare containing checked baggage.
If not, a child under 2 is not entitled to any checked baggage.
