Blue Air in a nutshell
The Romanian low-cost airline competes bravely with the much larger and more established Wizz Air on routes from several Romanian cities to southern and western Europe. The fleet consists of 29 older Boeing 737s, but the company is slowly replacing them with brand new ones. In addition to its main bases in Bucharest, Bacau, Iasi and Cluj, the airline also flies from Turin, Larnaca and Liverpool.
