Aer Lingus in a nutshell

Irish flag carrier Aer Lingus is a classic network airline. It offers free refreshments on long-haul flights to the United States, as well as guaranteed connections at Irish airports and beyond.
Aer Lingus has its main base at Dublin DUB Airport, but will also offer frequent services from other Irish cities as well as Belfast BFS.
The planes are recognisable at a glance due to their traditional green livery with the St Patrick's shamrock - Ireland's national patron saint.

registered with a lost passport, can I continue with a national identity card?

You can travel on flights within Europe with any travel document, including an ID card if you are an EU citizen.

For the second day I can't create an account, I try on PC and in the application, repeatedly .. after clicking on Join Aer Club and filling in all the details it throws me a message that unfortunately can't be completed and hello, has anyone had the same problem recently, or any idea how to solve it ? Thank you

Hello, unfortunately I am now solving the same problem, so far without success :/

.. try checking how you enter the tf number .. country code : +420, area code : first three phone numbers, local number : next six numbers ... I always skipped the prefix and just typed local no. .. my mistake :)
Hi, does anyone have more experience on how seats are assigned during online check-in? (Especially on transatlantic flights) - I used to check availability via the app and most of the seats are already taken, now 24 hours before departure the system won't even let me look at the current seating.
There will be two of us and the double seats in the back are taken, only the "pay more" ones in the front remain. There are a couple of seats left in the middle in the back where we would obviously hate to be.
Does anyone have any experience of whether the system assigns seats from the back first and is it worth waiting to check-in to get a double seat more in the front, or will they prioritise us as a pair for a double seat and thus not worth waiting to make sure it's not already taken?
Thanks for any experiences
